About Priscilla Serafin
Priscilla Serafin, an oil painter who is inspired by the natural landscape, focuses on the light, water and coastal marshes surrounding the North Shore of Massachusetts. Working in oil, she begins on location to capture a sense of light and then further explores the line between abstraction and representation in her studio. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts from West Virginia University in 1984 and in 1986 completed her Masters of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Yale University. Her award-winning work is regularly exhibited in shows on the North Shore.
